JOB SUMMARY
The Regional Business Services Organisation was created in 2009 to provide business support and shared services to the wider Health and Social Care (HSC). The organisation currently provides a wide range of business and professional services to twenty-one organisations.
Following a recent strategic review of BSO, this post has an expanded remit, and has a revised responsibility and focus on the delivery of finance shared services. The Director of Finance is an Executive Director of the BSO Board, and as such, the postholder will participate in the corporate decision-making and provide strategic leadership to the organisation.
Effectively working with the Chief Executive Officer and relevant directors, will be critical to the success of this role, in particular, a strong working relationship with the Director of Strategic Planning and Customer Engagement. The Director of Finance will be accountable to the Chief Executive Officer for the delivery of a range of services to customers within the HSC.
