JOB SUMMARY

The Regional Business Services Organisation (BSO) was created in 2009 to provide business support and shared services to the wider Health and Social Care (HSC). The organisation currently provides a wide range of business and professional services to twenty-one organisations. The demand for digital support has increased substantially over the last number of years and consequently a new Digital Operations Directorate was formed bringing together a number of disparate digital delivery areas within BSO and from the wider HSC & Public Safety system. The new Digital Director will be an executive member of the BSO Board and lead the Digital directorate. Over the next few years, the postholder will work with the regional Digital Shared Services Programme team to effectively transition and develop a number of key shared digital functions. The role will be a key part of the digital leadership provided across the health and care system.
