Notes: This is a full time 8 PA permanent post in Chemical Pathology. The appointee will work in conjunction with the existing Consultant Chemical Pathologists in the NHSCT to provide a comprehensive laboratory and Clinical Biochemistry service to the Trust. The NHSCT Clinical Biochemistry Department provides the service to the Trust area and is also part of the Pathology Network in Northern Ireland. Management of the department is through the NHSCT senior management structure. The department welcomes innovation through Research and Audit. The NHSCT Clinical Chemistry Department provides services to Primary and Secondary Care providers within the Trust’s geographical catchment area. The post will be based in Antrim Hospital with duties in Causeway Hospital. A waiting list may be compiled for full/part-time permanent / temporary Consultant Chemical Pathologist posts which may arise within the next 6 months in Antrim Hospital.
