Notes: This is a full time post with 10 programmed activities to join the existing consultants, specialty doctors and cardiology team in Antrim Hospital. The appointee, together with consultant colleagues, will be responsible for the provision of high quality cardiac care for inpatients and outpatients in Antrim Hospital. The service is supported by cardiac investigation and general radiology departments as well as outpatient and ambulatory departments, and maintains close links with the regional tertiary cardiology centre for invasive procedures. This post offers the appointee an opportunity to join the growing consultant physician body within Antrim Hospital. The hospital is situated close to the shores of Lough Neagh and within a 5-minute drive of the stunning Loughshore park. The area has a high standard of residential accommodation and good transport links with Belfast. There is a wide selection of schools locally, and recreational facilities in the area are excellent.
