Notes: Following interviews for the above post a waiting list will be compiled for future Permanent, Temporary, Full Time, Part-Time & BANK posts. This waiting list will be held for a period of 12 months from the date of interview. This is a Specialist Biomedical Scientist Post (Band 6) but anyone appointed who does not have HCPC registration and hold IBMS Specialist Diploma (or equivalent) in relevant discipline will be appointed to Band 5 until completion of these and satisfactory attainment of competency levels as agreed with the Head Biomedical Scientist. Please note: Anyone applying for a post who does not hold an IBMS Specialist Diploma specific to the discipline they are applying for, will be assessed at time of job offer and may enter the service as a Biomedical Scientist (Band 5) until they complete the relevant IBMS Specialist Diploma and competencies.
