Notes: Causeway Hospital on Northern Ireland’s rugged Atlantic coastline is seeking to appoint a Specialty Doctor in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine to join our department. This is a replacement post on our Specialty Doctor tier who provide the resident Anaesthetic cover for our Hospital on a 1 in 6 to 1 in 7 frequency rota. The post holder will also provide anaesthetic list cover across a range of surgical specialties including colorectal, gynaecology, urology, ENT and Dental. There is a Consultant lead Maternity unit with 24hr epidural service, 24hr ED and a dedicated and busy Day Surgery Unit. Our 3 bedded mixed medical/surgical Intensive care forms part of the Northern Ireland Critical Care network and contributes to the ICNARC database.
