Notes: This replacement post will provide acute cardiology inpatient and outpatient services to the population served by the South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust. This post will cover a range of duties within Cardiology including, cardiac ambulatory hub, Cardiac referrals, Cardiology Outpatient Clinics and support to the rapid access angina clinic. There will also be opportunities to develop a special interest within Cardiology which may include heart failure, implantable loop recorder insertion, stress echo, TOE, or Cardiac CT. There are no general medical sessions associated with this post. It is based at the Ulster Hospital with sessions taking place in Downe and Lagan Valley Hospitals. This is a full time post, however applications from practitioners who wish to contract for a reduced number of planned activities, or on a job share basis are welcome.
