Does this cover all areas of social work in HSCNI ?
Yes, this recruitment process will cover all areas within social work that have vacancies at present and those which will have vacancies arise over the next 12 months.
What happens if I fail to submit my preferences?
This is an essential part of the process. If you fail to submit your preferences by the closing date for submission it will be assumed you are no longer interested in being considered for an appointment and your application will not be processed further.
How will you know my job preferences?
Following submission of your standard application form, you will be sent a link to a survey asking you to provide your preferences about the post you would most like to work in. It is really important that you carefully consider this information and only submit interest in areas you would genuinely like to work in.
Will candidates who due to covid have been unable to sit their driving test and there do not have a driving license be able to apply for these posts?
This is essential criteria however on the application form you will be asked if you have a provisional licence and are due to undertake your driving test. If you select yes then you will get an interview. We may not be able to offer you permanent posts until you get your driving licence.
Will this cover both permanent and temporary positions?
Yes, this will include both permanent and temporary positions that come up within the next 12 months.
If I accept a post and decline it, am I removed from the waiting list?
