Belfast Trust are now recruiting for all levels of Practitioner Psychologists across many different services including:

• Paediatrics

• Community Adult Mental Health

• Autism Spectrum Disorder – Lifespan

• Adult Health Services including:

o Cancer

o Haematology

o HIV

o Stroke

• Learning Disability including:

o Adults

o Children

• Looked After Children Therapeutic Support Services

Included are multiple Band 7 and Band 8 Registered Practitioner Psychologists to join the BHSCT Psychological Services Department.

For the Band 7 roles, there is a Preceptorship Programme pathway available, which aims to facilitate progression to Band 8a.

We welcome applications from newly qualifying Practitioner Psychologists and those already working in a Band 7 position who do not yet meet the criteria for the Band 8A position.

The successful applicant will be free to decide whether or not they accept the Preceptorship route, recognising that some applicants may prefer to accept a Band 7 role, with no Preceptorship path.

If the successful applicant choses the Preceptorship route, we will provide a comprehensive and full supported Preceptorship Programme. This will occur over a set period, depending on previous experience, and the employee meeting set objectives required to fulfil the role of a Specialist Practitioner Psychologist.

A Relocation package is available for all roles.

A waiting list may be compiled for any similar posts that arise over the next 12 months.
