The following trusts- Belfast HSC Trust, South Eastern HSC Trust, Southern HSC Trust and Northern HSC Trust, will be recruiting a Nurse Consultant in the following specialties: District Nursing, Learning Disability and CAMHS.
These exciting newly funded posts ensure senior nurses, midwifes and health visitors remain in practice, keep their clinical and managerial expertise at the bedside and provide strong nursing leadership in their teams by being an inspirational leader. This recruitment exercise demonstrates a significant investment into the nursing workforce in Northern Ireland.

You will receive an attractive salary (£54,764- £63,862) as well as generous pension and excellent terms and conditions.
If you do not have the Masters qualification there is an opportunity to called Consultant in training and be paid at the relevant trainee rate until completion of your MSc.
The posts have been created in line with the Northern Ireland Nursing And Midwifery Task Group (NMTG) Report and Recommendations (March 2020); there is an emphasis to build and resource a new career framework for nursing and midwifery to ensure that within ten years we have advanced nurse, specialist midwife and nurses roles, as well as nurse and midwife consultant roles across all branches of nursing and midwifery.
