Medical Student Technician Roles now available

COVID-19 is putting huge additional demand on our Health Service. We are asking if you would be interested in working in the Vaccination Programme in the Greater Belfast Vaccination Centre at the SSE Arena Belfast in the first instance.

A Medical Student Technician Vaccinator role will allow you to improve your technical skills in fundamental patient care, whilst applying the skills you have learnt and working with colleagues in the healthcare setting.

We have put everything in place to ensure joining us is easy and safe for you. We will provide you with your first dose of the COVID-19 vaccination once you commence work. You will also be provided with the necessary training, support and PPE where appropriate to undertake this role.

Job Details

Salary: Band 4 (£21,089pa/£11.20ph)

Location: Greater Belfast Vaccination Centre at the SSE Arena (in the first instance)

Period of Employment: 24th May – 15th August 2021

Hours: Various Shifts Monday –Sunday 07:45- 20:30

Appointments will be made on a bank only ‘as and when’ contract of employment and you will be employed by the South Eastern H&SC Trust.

Pending the needs of service, you may likely be required to give a commitment of a minimum of 24 hours service per week (please note that short shifts are 6 hours long).
