As a social worker, you'll work with people to find solutions to their problems. This may be helping to protect vulnerable people from harm or abuse or supporting people to live independently.

Our five Trust’s provide integrated Health and Social Care to the population of Northern Ireland. We are now recruiting to a range of Social Work roles in each of the Health and Social Care Trusts in Northern Ireland. Checkout the Current Social Work Vacancies.

Below is a planned timeline of future recruitment plans for those who are currently studying or may not have concluded their AYE year yet. Students will be informed through their university on how to apply for roles in Spring 2025.

Qualified Social Worker – Registered on Part one of the NISCC register and AYE completed by closing date of advert.

Graduate Social Worker – Those expected to qualify with a Social work degree by 31 December 2025 and be eligible for registration on Part 1 of the NISCC register.
