West Belfast Federation are recruiting for new permanent and temporary Senior Mental Health Practitioners to join their existing team. Full time and part time roles are available and a 12-month waiting list for further permanent and temporary and full time and part time roles will also be compiled. Job Summary The role and function of the Senior Mental Health Practitioner is to work as a core member of the multi-disciplinary team alongside the GP in practice providing a first contact mental health service to patients across the lifespan who present in General Practice. S/he will be a highly specialist resource providing clinical expertise in care, advice and support ensuring a seamless, coordinated approach to person-centred care, across the clinical pathway, and providing timely onward referral to other professionals and agencies as appropriate.
