Application Process opens

You will be required to submit a standard application form by the stated closing date.

Once you submit your application you will then be sent a link to a survey where you can provide information on your preferences for work location and/or area of practice (please note this is not an automated function so will take up to 48 hours following submission of your application to be released).

When you open the link you will be asked to specify which of the following two options is most important to you:

a) That Trust location is most important to you or

b) That Service area is most important to you

It is particularly important that you carefully consider the preference information you submit as this will be used to match you to a suitable post.

Please submit your preferences by the closing date stated in the covering email. You MUST submit the preference form by the stated closing date or it will be assumed you do not wish to pursue your application further.

Week Commencing 12th April 2021

The preference information you provide during the Application phase will be fed into a data analysis tool which, based on available posts, will match you to the post which most closely aligns with your preferences.

As this has a number of component parts this may take up to 10 days to complete.

Week commencing 26th April 2021

You will receive a communication from the HSC Recruitment Centre to advise which organisation your details have been passed to.

The relevant HSC Trust will commence contact with candidates for a ‘Professional Discussion’ with the Nursing workforce lead from the Trust most likely to meet your preferences. They will discuss the posts available and seek to offer you a post as close to your preferences as possible based on available vacancies.

You should be aware that if your preferred area has fewer posts to interested candidates you will have to compete if you still wish to pursue that option. The Nursing Workforce lead will discuss this with you should this situation arise.

If you would prefer not to compete for a post you can request a different service area in the same Trust or that your information can be shared with your second preference Trust.

This stage of the process is likely to take up to 2 weeks to complete.

Friday 14th May 2021

Your formal conditional offer will be released and the pre-employment check process will commence.
